DLOA - The Poet and the giant Travoc

Based on my "De Leggend Of Abbruzzo" world.
The concept is to re-imagine Abruzzo region as if it were a fantasy world. Abruzzo is my Italian region. I usually draw in a more cartoonish style, this is a rare approach to a painting style.

Here you are some lore about this painting:
"The poet known as The Vate studied the ancient arcane arts, music and poetry. He craved hedonism and pleasure more than anything else. The highest pleasure, however, was that obtained from knowledge. While the faithful dog Pastor watches him, from the bow of the Stone Ship, the Poet summons a gigantic Travoc from the Adriatic waters."

A strong inspiration for the style comes from the artists Jakub Rozalski and Simon Stålenhag whom I greatly admire.
